ABOUT
Alejandro Valdes is a music producer, sound mixer and sound designer with over 10 years of experience in the music and audio industry.
After completing an MA in Audio Production at the University of Westminster, he gained further experience working as an Audio Engineer at Soho Sonic Studios and has worked as live sound engineer for different bars in Central London.
He has worked in sessions for British acts such as Lisa Stansfield, Keane, Mica Paris, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Mike Skinner, David Henstchel, Lethal Bizzle, Shakka, Kwabs among others. Also, he has participated as recording and mixing engineer for commercials for brands such as Samsung, Habitat, British Museum, KPMG and DHL.
Since 2016, he became an official trainer for Steinberg, providing certification courses on hardware and software products such as Cubase, Nuendo and Wavelab. Working as an audio lecturer got him selected as a finalist by Alumni Awards UK for his entrepreneurship in education, a recognition that seeks to exalt and visualise the good work of international alumni after studying in the UK.
In 2019 he attended the Mastering Academy in Hamburg to study new trends in audio post - production. Currently, he enjoys mixing music and sound for TV. Alejandro’s Influences include Quincy Jones, David Foster, Baby Face, Max Martin and Mark Ronson.
